Trusting Gods Timing

Trusting Gods Timing is something that most of us struggle with. We want to have what we are believing for right now, most of us arn’t good at waiting. We have to remember that Gods thoughts are above our thoughts and his timing isn’t our timing.

Waiting on Gods perfect timing reminds me of Matthew 9:17 17 Nor is new wine put into old [a]wineskins [that have lost their elasticity]; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the [fermenting] wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so both are preserved.” If God gives us what we are not ready for it could ruin or set us back further.

God doesn't want you to perish

Lets say you have been believing God for a husband or wife. God has given you the message that he will make this come to pass. You have been waiting for quite some time now and now your starting to get frusterated. Your wondering where is my husband or wife? I feel like Im ready! doesn’t God remember? maybe he changed his mind.

Gods word is like the purest form of Gold, he always makes good on his word. What if God gave you your husband or wife before you were ready and it fails. God needs to prepare us for what is to come and deal with past issues. New wine into new wineskins. A new and refreshed mind ready for a new relationship that will work.

The enemy will try to plant seeds of unbelief

Remember those questions that you were asking earlier. Doesn’t God remember? Maybe God changed his mind on what Ive been believing for. This is an opportune time for the devil to plant seeds of unbelief in your mind, trying to steal what God has planted by lack of faith and then confessing negative words. Its never going to happen, ive been waiting so long.

MARK 11:23,24 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. You can have what you say if you believe it with your heart. That goes for negative things too.

Whenever you hear those negative thoughts confess. No! God will make good on what he told me he will do! God is preparing me for what is to come! In his timing and when i’m ready it will come to pass. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Practice makes Perfect

God may be using what you are believing for to stretch and practice your faith. If an athlete doesn’t practice how will that athlete ever be ready to compete at a high level. The more we practice our faith the easier it gets to believe God!

Possibly the next thing you will be believing for will be a more difficult thing to believe for. We should be thanking God for answering our prayer, praising and confessing our request fulfilled. When we are believing God for something it does draw you closer to God. Like I said his thoughts are above our thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways,”

declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Gods word is Gold!

Trusting Gods Timing

God always keeps his promises. He loves us. Don’t give up hope or let negative thoughts take hold. Things will happen when it’s time. Speak positively about what you want and give thanks to God for answering your prayers.

Remember Galatians 6:9, which tells us not to give up and to keep doing good, because we will eventually see good results. Galatians 6:9 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
