Compassionate Healing of a Man with Leprosy

Jesus Heals After delivering the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus encountered a man with leprosy. Moved by compassion, Jesus reached out, touched him, and said, “I am willing, be clean!” Immediately the leprosy left the man, and he was healed. Jesus entered a synagogue and there was a man with a shriveled hand. The Pharisees watched Jesus to see if he would heal on the Sabbath. Jesus asked the man to stand up in front of everyone, then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and it was completely restored.

The Resurrection of Lazarus

Perhaps one of the most dramatic healing stories is the raising of Lazarus. Lazarus had been dead for four days by the time Jesus arrived. Jesus, deeply moved, went to the tomb and commanded Lazarus to come out, and he did, still wrapped in the grave clothes, alive once more. Jesus Heals
