God I feel lost

You might be saying God I feel lost. There are times in our life when we feel just that, not knowing what road to travel down. Feeling lost goes hand and hand with not having a purpose, plan or something to work on that brings you fulfillment. Depending on God in these difficult times can be life changing, God does have a beautiful plan for your life if you keep heart and faith.
Sometimes feeling lost can trigger feelings of depression frusteration and anxiety. Or experiencing these issues can cloud or limit hearing our direction from God. The first step is ridding these negative feelings so we can be productive and with a clear mind hear where god is looking to lead us.
This is the time we go to scripture to remind ourselves of the promises that God has given to us. God promises us a meaningful fulfilling and peaceful life of abundance, sometimes we just have to remind ourselves. First step is riding the depression anxiety and frustration through scripture.
Scriptures to break out of anxiety and depression
Psalm 34:4 - “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
Psalm 42:11 - “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.”
Psalm 55:22 - “Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Isaiah 41:10 - “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

The next step in finding your meaning and direction in life is recognizing the promises that God gave to us through scripture and. The plan God has for your life surpasses any plan that you can possibly formulate. It is a perfect plan of hope and peace, it is a plan to help others. Just like God is helping you.
Prayer is so important
Prayer life is extremely important in general. When you are believing God to lead you into the right direction in life and give you a meaningful route its absolutely essential. We are constantly connected to Jesus at all times, we never bother him and Jesus is never too busy to listen to us and give us direction.
His time is unlike our time, getting to the end goal of finding our meaning or purpose in life can happen quickly, or it may take some time and effort in prayer. He needs to know that we are serious and we are always going to councel him first and put him first in our lives at all times. Learning how to hear from him through the holy spirit takes time and practice. Walking with God is a marathon not a sprint, don’t loose heart.
James 5:16 - "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."
Matthew 21:22 - "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."
1 John 5:14-15 - "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him."

The power of faith on finding your direction.
Faith in God is such a vital aspect when you are believing for a prayer to be answered, in this case we are believing to be lead in the right direction. As the bible says its impossible to please God without faith. We have to first believe that Jesus is the son of God and expand upon. Keeping a faith filled heart when you’re believing for something thats taking time but Gods time is not like our time and his timing is absolutely perfect. He will come through his words prove that.
Hebrews 11:1 - “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Matthew 21:22 - “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Matthew 17:20 - “He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Mark 11:23-24 - “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Final Thoughts
I believe that if you follow these steps God will point you in the right direction and give you an amazing life beyond your wildest expectations. Now we must ask with right motive, we must try to stay away from sin. Thanking God for answering your prayers even if has not manifested in the physical realm is very important. Praising God is another key point, he is worthy of praise an honor. Anyone ever feel depressed when your praising God? I don’t think so.
